How to get there
Trailhead Access
Drive north of Monterrey toward Sabinas Hidalgo / Higueras. The trailhead is at the access road into the Sierra de Picachos near Sabinas.
Parking Information
Park at the trailhead clearing. The road is rough; high-clearance recommended.

No formal access fees; small ejido fee may apply.
Trail Overview
Chains three peaks in one outing: Durazno, Nogal and Yerbabuena. Several intersections require following Wikiloc carefully.
Recommended Gear
Hiking poles, headlamp, power bank, sunscreen, first-aid kit. It is extremely important not to throw away or drop any kind of trash; consider carrying a bag to pack out your containers and any you find along the way. The technical part of this route is very exposed to the sun and usually takes the longest to cross.
