Trailhead Access

This route begins in the town of La Venta del Astillero. You have to go to “San Isidro” street, and then take an unnamed street towards the Bosque la Primavera. On Google maps there is a business called “Meditation Garden” and that is the one I usually take as a reference. 150 m after said business there is an intersection where we can go down to the right or continue straight; we have to go down and a few meters after the curve there is enough space to leave several cars.

Parking Information

Reference the “Parking” waypoint. It's a large area where we don't hinder any neighbors.

Trail Overview

This is a busy route, so the route is very clear. There are a couple of intersections where the roads are very clear, but they lead to different destinations; so you still have to pay attention to the GPS from time to time.

This route to Tower 2 offers us almost 500 m of unevenness, which are distributed over 6 km in length (climb only). Therefore, the route is classified as level 3 of 10. It is a route suitable for beginners in good condition. It is worth mentioning that most of what you have to climb is in two very marked climbs, one before the table known as “Cerro Alto” and the other almost reaching tower 2. The rest of the tour is very enjoyable, on a very long plateau with plenty of pine shade.
