Unique semicraters with crystal clear lagoons called “The Sun” and “The Moon” from the top you can see beautiful landscapes with different colors of earth.
It is located 43 kilometers southwest of the City of Toluca, and is reached by the Toluca-Sultepec highway, passing the town of Raíces with a detour to the volcano, covering 18 kilometers of dirt road to the top.
The Nevado de Toluca park has a large and secure car park, this time we were not charged for the entrance to the parking lot.
If you want to go up the dirt road in a van, you will have to pay $50 to go down about 800 meters before reaching the lagoons.
