Trailhead Access
Drive to Parque Natural La Estanzuela in southern Monterrey. Take the access via Av. Eugenio Garza Sada toward La Estanzuela and continue to the park entrance.

Trail Overview
From the park entrance, the trail climbs steadily through forest to the El Guardián viewpoint. Well-signed.
Recommended Gear
Hiking poles, headlamp, power bank, sunscreen, first-aid kit. Only protein bars, seeds and fruit are allowed. It is extremely important not to throw away or dump any kind of trash; consider bringing a bag to carry out your containers and any you find along the way.
