Long sleeves, long pants, shoes with grip and extra jacket

How to get there?

Location:

To get to the town of San Juan de los Dolores, take the exit for Los Lirios from the road to Matehuala. Instead of driving in the direction of Los Lirios, you will have to turn left in the direction of San Juan de los Dolores. It is located on a mountain range before the lilies.

Parking:

The parking lot is next to a park in the same ejido of San Juan de los Dolores. Remember to always ask the locals if it's OK to park there. We are guests at their properties and should be friendly.

Costs and Schedule:

There is no cost to get to this location. If you leave from Monterrey, the road to Saltillo-Quota costs 130 pesos and the coal mining booth 44 pesos.

Additional Equipment:

Raincoat, windbreaker and jacket. The summit is usually sunny, but if it rains, the temperature can drop below 0 degrees Celsius.

Route Trace:

The route is not wasted, but there are several detours from other sidewalks that merge with the main one that we share with them. You have to be attentive to the objective to decide in which direction to go when you reach any junction. As a security measure, always have the Wikiloc route downloaded, it's totally free if you follow our ORG profile.
