How to get there
Trailhead Access
The easiest way is to search Google Maps for "Grutas de García". Once close to that point, head a bit further toward the base of the mountain. The exact starting point is marked on our route.
Parking Information
You can leave your vehicle at the Grutas de García parking lot, though that adds some walking to the trailhead. The other option is to drive to the actual trailhead — after passing the cave entrance, the road becomes dirt; any vehicle can make it with care. Be sure not to block the road so other cars can pass.
Fees & Park Hours
As of June 11, 2025, this route has no access fees.
Trail Overview
The start of the trail is the easiest part to get lost; we recommend checking your Wikiloc track until you find the right path. There are several intersections where you'll need to pay close attention to keep the correct direction.
