How to get there
Trailhead Access
Drive to Iturbide, NL. Take the Carretera Nacional from Linares toward Iturbide; the trailhead is along the Las Misiones access road.
Parking Information
Park at the trailhead clearing. Roads in the area are mostly dirt; high-clearance recommended.

Trail Overview
From the trailhead, the dirt road climbs to a small saddle, then a cattle-marked trail leads through grass to the ridge. The final kilometer has no clear trail and requires navigation.
Recommended Gear
Hiking poles, headlamp, power bank, sunscreen, first-aid kit, gloves (helpful for the bushwhack). It is extremely important not to throw away or dump any kind of trash; consider bringing a bag to carry out your containers and any you find along the way. If you want to reach the summit, you need hiking boots or shoes, a hat, trousers and a hiking shirt.
