Ascent to the old cable car on the hill of La Silla. Easy route to enjoy good views of the entire city.
Use your favorite browser to search for “Cerro de la Silla Cable Car” and get to the location.
To get to the village you have to go through a private one, the guards always give permission to walk but not by car, so the parking lot is just after the booth along Bosques del Valle street. During the week there will be a couple of vehicles and on weekends it is usually full (even if there is a lot of parking).
It's priceless.
It is the best marked route in Nuevo León. The whole road is a street.
The route is 2.5k with an average slope of 20%, and is usually a bit heavy for those who do not do any physical activity, since it represents wear and tear on the knees and legs as it is a semi-paved terrain; it is always recommended to do it in the mornings when the sun is still hiding behind the mountain or in the evening at night, although you should bring lamps.
