We recommend snacks with sugar, sodium and especially carbohydrates (fruits, blueberries, energy bars, some gel, cookies, chips, etc.) and 2 liters of water should be enough for the route, although it never hurts to carry extra.
For this route we don't require any special equipment, only sports shoes with soles for running or hiking and the backpack with your resources (water, snacks, batteries, flashlights or lamps).

individual.sections.parking

To get to the village you have to go through a private one, the guards always give permission to walk but not by car, so the parking lot is just after the booth along Bosques del Valle street. During the week there will be a couple of vehicles and on weekends it is usually full (even if there is a lot of parking).

The route is 2.5k with an average slope of 20%, and is usually a bit heavy for those who do not do any physical activity, since it represents wear and tear on the knees and legs as it is a semi-paved terrain; it is always recommended to do it in the mornings when the sun is still hiding behind the mountain or in the evening at night, although you should bring lamps.
